Se acerca el invierno y si sos como yo, ya estás pensando qué es lo que vas tejer, qué lana comprar, para quien… analizando un poco las tendencias, te digo que si le sumás algo de brillo a tu tejido, estarás a la moda. También puedes colocarle algún detalle de piel, para un look de pasarela.Inclínate por el rojo sangre o el azul navy, pero si estos dos colores no te convencen, puedes tejer algo en los colores básicos (blanco, negro o gris) o algún pastel (preferiblemente rosa). Anímate a combinarlos con el escocés o el animal print. Si es un saco, puedes hacerlo largo, y si es un sweater, no dudes en seguir con la tendencia oversized. Inclusive para sombreros y bufandas, sigue la tendencia oversized, tal como mostró Cavalli en su show. También puedes tejer muchos accesorios: vinchas y guantes más largos, así como los mostró Nina Ricci en su colección, o unas polainas, pero más cortas y que cubran el zapato como las de Alexander Wang. El material por excelencia es el mohair, como lo mostró Celine, Louis Vuitton o Emporio Armani. Pero mi consejo, algo que no puedes dejar de tejer esta temporada es una polera… el turtleneck es lo mas in! Ya sea de lana gruesa o no, tienes que tener uno en tu placard!
Winter is almost here and if you are like me, you´re already thinking what to knit, what yarn you´ll use, for who you´ll knit… trend reports alert that if you are going to add a little bit of glitter to your knit, you are going to be totally in. You can add some fur, to give your knit a runaway look. Lean towards blood red o navy blue, but if those two colors don´t convince you, knit using basic colors (such as white, black or gray) or pastels (preferably pink). Go for combinations with scottish tartan or animal print. If it is a cardigan, you can knit it long, and if it is a sweater, don´t hesitate to follow the oversize trend. Even for hats and scarfs, oversize rules, as Cavalli showed on his catwalk. Also you can knit a lot of accessories: headbands and long gloves, as Nina Ricci showed on her collection, or some leggings, but knit them shorter and make sure they cover the shoe, such as Alexander Wang´s. The yarn par excellence is mohair, as Celine, Louis Vuitton and Emporio Armani showed on the runaway. But my advice is: something you can´t leave behind this season is a turtleneck… they are the hottest piece this winter!!

Hola! Como comenté en mi post técnicas y tips: punto duplicado, me canso de mi ropa. También como allí lo dije, ello me llevó a buscar varias formas de renovar un sweater, y la primera de ellas fue con el punto duplicado. Hoy, les traigo la parte 2, otra forma, que puedo confesar, es una de las que más me gustó. Aunque esta técnica es viejísima (otra confesión, mi madre la usaba con nosotros), depende de la tela que elijamos, ya que a pesar de ser un sweater antiguo, podemos sumarle más glamour, como en el caso de apairandasparediy.com. Inclusive para los chicos, que tanto gastan la ropa. Pero no hacerlo para ellos con una frisa, sino por ejemplo, para una nena, hacerlo con estas mismas lentejuelas… hermosos!! As I also said, this lead me to find new ways to update my sweaters, and the first one was with the duplicate stitch. Today, I bring you the second part, another way, one of the best for me, may I confess. Although this technique is really old (let me confess again, my mom used it with my clothes), it depends a lot on the fabric we chose, as it can add a lot of glam to a really old sweater, just like apairandasparediy.com shows us. Finalmente tuve algo de tiempo para cumplir con lo prometido! Hoy les traje el patrón gratuito del sweater super fácil que les motré en este post hace un tiempito. Este proyecto es ideal para aquellas personas que no saben tejer demasiado, que recién se inician, o que les gusta tejer recto y no complicarse con las formas. Esto es porque es un sweater totalmente recto, donde la única forma que tiene es la del cuello, es de hombro caído y mangas tres cuartos. Está pensado para una niña de tres años, y en mi caso, lo tejí con la técnica jacquard, pero como lo explico en el patrón, verdaderamente aconsejo tejerlo sin complicarse demasiado con la figura, y si te animás, luego le puedes hacer con punto duplicado la figura que desees. Lo puedes hacer naranja con una figura de moño fucsia, hacer azul y una estrella celeste para un niño, o rojo y una guitarra amarilla… infinidad de combinaciones y formas!!! I finally had some time to deliver what I´ve promised! Today I bring you the easy sweater free pattern, that sweater I showed you on here a little while ago. It´s an ideal project for those of you who just begin knitting, or are learning, or those who like to knit straight and don´t get complicate using shapes. This is because it´s a dropped shoulder sweater, knitted straight, were the only shape is the neckline. Its sleeves are 3/4. It is thought for a 3 years old girl, and I knitted it using the jacquard technique, but I strongly recommend to knit it and afterwards use the duplicate stitch technique and do whatever figure you can think of. You can knit it orange and do a fuchsia figure of a bow, or blue with a light blue star for a boy, red with a yellow guitar… countless combinations and shapes!
